This was a fun event.  It was fun to meet those of you that attended.  The follow up is Friday the 15th from 10 to noon.  It is at Starling Coffee across from the Ashway park and ride.  If you want to come, go through some magazines, cut out pictures glue them on something**like a poster board and bring it along.  The event is free but please plan to buy a coffee or tea while you are there.  See you Friday. 

Who is crushing  your dreams?  Is it you?  Are you sabotaging  yourself?   Are you giving a hundred percent of your time to your family when 80 percent would be sufficient?  Are you allowing your family , commitments,  volunteer opportunities etc. to get in the way of your calling?  What would it be like to begin stepping toward God's call on your life ?  Following your God given desires?  

What would it be like for you if your dream became a reality?  What is getting in the way of that happening?  Doubt? Fear?  If God has given you the gift the call then he will help you.  It takes belief in the call and steps into the dream.  Believing that God can use you no matter WHAT. 

What does it mean to be coachable?  If you want to make changes in your life are you willing to seek out others to help you on your journey?  Find people that are "FOR YOU" to be on your team and support you.  We talked about having a dream and hiding it, or pretending like it doesn't matter.  It does, find a coach a friend, a mentor to help you make the changes you want in your life. Don't just let life happen, Make it happen.

Does being courageous mean having no fear?  NO !!!  It means having fear and facing it.  It means having enough faith in your call to continue to pursue it when obstacles get in the way. 
I think of Froto, it JRR Tolkein's Lord of the Rings.  Froto had a mission and although a troop of leaders agreed to go with him, some became lustful of the ring and it caused huge problems. 
Froto went out on his own so others wouldn't be distracted by their desire for the ring.  He was caught and Faithful Friend Sam came to his rescue and basically carried him to the end of his mission. 

Choice! The key is choice.
 You have options. 
You need not spend your life wallowing in failure, ignorance, grief, poverty, shame, and self-pity! There is a better way to live!

How do you feel when people tell you what you "should" do?  This week take notice of "SHOULDS".  Hearing them and saying them.  Let us know what that is like for you?  I know i really resent it when people tell me what i "SHOULD" do.  Once i realized that i was able to pay attention to when i was shoulding on others.

Life is short and our gremlins can rob us of the true joy of living out our purpose.  What are your Gremlins telling you?
