The topic of next Saturday's radio show on 820 am KGNW or kgnw.com.  This week's audio blog is all about taking it down a notch.  When things get overwhelming it is easy to give up.  But when we look at one small thing we can do it makes things easier.

Our audio blog is about finding three things to be grateful for each day this year.  Say it, blog it, write, it, pray it.  While i ((Laurie)) was getting the audio ready to post i used a new program i found for free to convert it to MP3.  I looked at the box as it was converting and i said "thank you".  There are so many things that we take for granted.  Hank my sisters cat came to snuggle with me.  It was nice and I said "thank you".  I am realizing a new layer of gratitude.  I see homeless people sleeping outside each night I catch the bus.  When i woke up this morning and looked out at the beautiful sunrise and frosty trees.  I felt grateful and blessed by such beauty and a shudder of gratitude that i was lucky enough to be sleeping inside.  God Bless you this New Year !!!

It is one thing when others put their expectations on us and we feel we have to please them.  But what about when we put expectations on ourselves expecially unreasonable ones.  We work to do the impossible and forget to break it all down to baby steps.  Doable parts so we can get through.  Here is some permission to give yourselves a break.

Friday Suzette and I had the honor of hosting Live From Seattle on KGNW.  It was great fun, with great callers.  We had two whole hours and it seemed like two minutes.  I guess when you are doing what you love it does seem timeless.  Thanks to all who called in and supported us.  Remember, dreams can come true, and as my coach Patrick Snow says, dream, execute, plan and SOAR !!!
