Hope versus Wonder

Hope is a good thing.  However when you hope for something, an "end all".  I hope I get the job, I hope he calls.  You are setting yourself up for disappointment.  Susan Jeffers in the book Embracing Uncertainty suggests we wonder about things.  I wonder if I will get that job.  Wonder opens us up to possibilities.  I wonder about that?
